Hills have announced a voluntary recall of some of their canned dog food. This is due to the possibility of increased levels of Vitamin D in some products. There has only been one case, in the USA, of a dog becoming sick from high Vitamin D levels but Hills are withdrawing stock in Australia as a precaution (the dog made a full recovery!). The Hills website has a list of the cans affected and these can be identified by the codes on each can. If you have any of the affected cans please return them to Mulberry Lane Vet Hospital for a refund, or contact Hills on 1800 679 932.
Click to the Hills website and the list of products here https://www.hillspet.com.au/productlist.
And if you have any concerns, any difficulty identifying the cans or with what to do, please phone us on 6360 3071.

HILLS DRY DOG FOOD, HILLS CAT FOODS WET OR DRY, ARE NOT AFFECTED.
