New Year Fireworks

Fireworks are scheduled for around 9pm New Years Eve in North Orange - great fun for humans, but can be very scary for our pets! Please make sure gates and fences are secure. If possible bring pets indoors, and provide a safe place for them to hide. Leaving music or the TV on can help drown out the noise outside, and your pets might appreciate lots of cuddles until the fireworks have finished.

Snake warning

There seem to be a large number of snakes on the move at the moment! Might be the "cold then hot then cold again" weather, might be the dry conditions, but whatever the reason we have sadly received a high number of emergency calls from people whose pets have been bitten. The golden rule is DON'T DELAY!  If you see your pet near a snake, if there's a dead snake in your garden or if you have any reason to think a snake has been around your pets then please get your pet to us as soon as possible. Better safe than sorry - have your pet with us for observation, than to be too late.
